Snowboard Bracket System

The CFR Snowboard Bracket System is the best and safest way to keep your snowboard out of the way while snowmobiling. Using the CFR snowboard bracket will make you will forget that you have your snowboard with you until you get to the top of your favorite snowboard line or jump spot and turn around. This package contains parts and hardware to carry one snowboard on D or Double D rack. Another snowboard bracket system can be purchased to carry up to two snowboards on D or Double D rack.

Mountain Instructions

Parts List:

- Snowboard bracket system with Ladder Strap X 1.
- 15 3/4”Strap with strap saver and aluminum ratchet X 1

Tools Needed:
-
Drill with 9/32nd and 1/8 inch pilot hole drill bit.
- 1 ratchet handle with a 7/16th or 11m socket.
- 1 7/16th or 11m open end wrench.

Step #1
Make sure you have purchased the CFR D or Double D rack. It is the base of the CFR snowboard system. Drill mounting points of Snowboard Bracket on rack, off of snowmobile. After holes are drilled, secure rack on snowmobile using instructions that came with rack. After the rack is mounted on the snowmobile proceed to mount snowboard bracket and strap on rack. 
Step #2
Look at diagram on front of instructions. Holes are marked on diagram as “Snowboard Bracket System mounting points” and “Snowboard Bracket Strap”.  First Drill three 1/8th pilot holes in hole punch areas on rack and second drill three 9/32nd holes in the pilot holes.
Step #3
Place strap on the strap “Mounting Point” on rack and using ¼ bolt provided loosely secure. (You will have to adjust strap length depending on width of board)  Place the snowboard bracket on rack over mounting holes. Thread the horizontal bolt first into “Snowboard Bracket” followed by the top vertical bolt. Once both bolts are threaded into bracket, tighten.
Step #4
Place snowboard in rack so the tail of snowboard is on the running board. Slide board into Snowboard Bracket so bracket is between bindings. Bring strap over board and position strap saver over edge. Insert Ratchet buckle into ladder on the side of snowboard bracket. Slide board back until rear binding is touching strap saver. Ratchet firmly. Use holes in straps and adjust accordingly. When desired length is attained, tighten bolt securing strap. To release snowboard press on ratchet release lever and pull up on strap.
