Slushy lake

I have heard that the ski doo XP's do not do well on open water crossings. The lake i was attempting to cross was not open water just kind of slushy. Halfway across the slushy lake my belt started to slip and i started to slow down. I turned the snowmobile for shore but didn't make it in time. Luckily my friend Daryl got his boots wet and came to help out. We built a little slush XP island and were able to dry out the clutch and pin it to shore.
