After a good stretch of "shitbird" weather it finally cracked a bit in the alpine around 10 am. I called up eric soucy, and we were off.. hoping for a window and nice snow

what we found was blue skies and a foot of fresh pow in the alphine
The whistlerblackcomb snow report was 6cm

things looked nicey

the pow was blower and sloughing like crazy.. the run was big and we looked like a spec on the face

anyways...what was turning out to be a epic day.. turned into a sled nightmare, in a hurry. We busted erics steering column tandeming, in the middle of BF nowhere.

we used duct tape and wire and tried to put it back together

eric was stressing but was cool enoough to give me a couple more runs before we headed out

somehow soucys smooth manoevering got him back to the truck! always pack wire and duct tape.. it will save you!

After the day we had, we decided we deserved a beer, so we went to the Ho. We also thought it might be a good place to pick up chicks
